Job Secured!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the hiring freeze in the Church's employment has not effected me!! I talked to my opera director yesterday and he just decided to settle this once and for all. He called up to the administration and cleared everything up. So I definitely have a job for the summer!!!! We are practicing Thurs and Fri evenings 7-10 and then Sat at 10 am. There's another accompanist and he plays on Sat. We're splitting up the score (printed music) somehow because it's kind of insane. People that downsize an orchestra's part into two piano staves can get pretty creative. I am doing well and can't believe it worked out!!

It was my birthday on Wed and it went well. I went to dinner with Steve at Olive Garden and came home to a PIANO!!! YES!! I finally have a piano to play at home. This will be so helpful for my job and Steve is taking lessons on campus this semester, too. Taylor also won't have to spend as much time at the day care because now I can practice at home! WAHOO!! Thanks, STEVE!!! I LOVE YOU!!! AND -- I am only 24. There was some confusion in my family that I was turning 25, FALSE.

Steve also got me a freakin' awesome pair of sunglasses and the Twilight Score. It's really basic but it's still TWILIGHT!!!
