Sparklers and Taylor do mix!

For the morning of the Fourth of July we usually have a breakfast with my family and head to the parade. We didn't make it down so we got doughnuts instead. Taylor wanted the blue colored one. He loved them!!
We had a great 4th!! It's getting easier as our kids get a bit older. Steve is a total pyro. I had no idea. So we got some fireworks for Taylor to do with him after dark. We decided not to go to the river because it was supposed to be really cold. A little boy with asthma, done by a river, when it's 45 degrees in Idaho is not a good idea. So we saw family and ate great food and came home. Steve is doing well and it really ready for the six month break. Yep!! Steve doesn't go back to school until January. Nice break indeed. I'm a walkin' the dog...
Like father, like son.

This picture is hilarious! No, he did not run into the pole. I turned around and he was looking through the holes at the sparklers on the other side. It's the funniest thing so far!
We've been debating about getting a new camera and we actually did. We got one and it was terrible. So we returned it and have still been using our old school one . It's digital, yes, but not up to date. Apparently it has this awesome 'night mode' which captured these awesome sparkler photos!

Most of you know that Taylor has been in speech therapy for about a year and a half. He has made huge progress. I credit a lot of that towards being in pre-school. Here he is spelling, yes, spelling his name with the sparklers. You can write his name and he can spell it or he can do it alone. The man is a genius! He can also write a pretty good "T".
