Today in History...

I know two posts in one day is much but today really is a day in history, for our family, that is. Four years ago Steve proposed to me on Temple Square after the MoTab Christmas Concert. It was, and always is, an incredible concert. I had gone the year before so I knew what to expect. It was so cold outside we were both shaking and I knew Steve had planned to do it afterwards. I told him he didn't need to kneel because of the cold. He said that he wasn't sure he could kneel because he was so cold. It may seem cliche to propose on Temple Square, around Christmas time, when there's lots of people, who you happened to know from school, walking by, but it was just right for us. We went to Macaroni Grill to celebrate. I, of course, left my coat at his sister's house because I thought I could endure the cold. I was such a dork!Us at the Conference Center before the show
(Was I really that blonde?! Wow!)

I am so thankful to be married to Steve and so thankful to have such a crazy, hair-brained little boy who makes us laugh each and everyday. He has never failed at any calling he has had in the Church and that has been such an example to me and Taylor. I love you, Steve.
Leave him a message of awesomeness, share the love!My ring photo on our wedding day

  1. Allison, you are definitely lucky! He was one of my best friends in high school and I still cherish that friendship though we hardly ever see each other. He's a wonderful guy and even though I've never met you personally, you seem like the perfect match for him too. Happy Engagement Anniversary!
