Steve's birthday is the 4th and he felt everyone had forgotten his birthday. So, me, being the sneaky one that I am, put together a surprise birthday dinner at Gringo's to show that we didn't forget. Here is the happy couple (David & Joni) at our house enjoying the festivities of cake and ice cream.

The main man, Bubba (AKA Andrew Kay).

The birthday boy opening gifts. He is always
really hard to shop for. ANd----he always knows what he is getting. So the surprise party was really a surprise.

The kids helping blow out the candles...I mean Luci blew them out three times before Steve had a chance to with the hellp of Andrew and Lilly.

The big 29. What's going to happen next year? AHHHhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Another tradition Steve has is to have the tree put up on his birthday. We jumped the gun a little this year and did it for FHE. My family always does it the first Saturday of the month. Taylor loved the bulbs. Good thing there are 'shatterproof' or we'd really be in trouble.

I don't look too pregnant yet. Yeah!!! I decided to do an Americana Tree due to our troops still serving our country. I am a very patriotic person and have so much to be thankful. We live in a beautiful country where we can serve the Lord without any restraints. Thanks to all those who have given their lives and times for our country. We are truly indebted.

Taylor loved Steve's train. He isn't allowed to touch it because Steve is afraid he'll break it. Steve has had this train since he was very little.

Thanksgiving was a blast! We had so much fun. Steve is actually cooking. He and his sister, Amanda, made a very yummy treat, oreo balls. They are fantastic and here there are all finished.
I have more picutres of steve cooking, somewhere, but i seriously stuck them someplace that is yet to be found (dang computers!). I have more on facebook if you are looking for more "Cooking with Steve".
Happy Birthday to Steve!!! You look absolutely terrific, can't even tell you are pregnant. And the picture of that treat at the end looks delicious. YUM
