Wow! It has been quite a crazy month! We're (I'm) settling down, finally, from the semester. I absolutely love what I do but the opera this semseter was a bit more than I think everyone thought. Such a great opera and wonderful experience. Wouldn't take it back. Gearing up for the holidays and so excited for it.
Taylor loves having the tree up and singing "Polar Express". He has definitely inherited his father's love of trains. He can hardly stand it if we do not go to see all the Thomas trains each time we go to Wal-Mart. He is fascinated by all the numbers and colors and names of all the trains. He knows each one by heart. It's been a great learning tool for Taylor. We count the trains, identify names and what the trains do, and he has a great time just playing with them. The stories teach values and most of all forgiveness. The trains aren't perfect. They plays tricks on eachother and get in trouble. They learn from their experiences and do their best to be 'very useful engines'.
Dress up day at Pre-School. Taylor was a construction worker.
A horse came to visit Taylor's Pre-School. Taylor was very excited and wasn't too scared! Also keeping the horse healthy by feeding him a carrot.
Petting the horse. Taylor loved feeling the horse's soft hair.Olivia on the other hand cannot stay out of the presents! She carries them around the house and has acutally opened one. Thank goodness it was for her cousin and we can re-wrap it! She is talking SO MUCH more. Some of her words, and these aren't grunts, are Hi!, buh-bye, Mommy, Daddy, me, potty, juice, milk, up, book, coat, cookie, mouse, eat, please, more, no, yes, dancing (kind of tricky), down, Elmo, and a few others I can't think of. She is SO tall and her blue eyes are getting more blue! I will be taking alot more photos of her as well as our Christmas Tree photo! I cannot wait for Christmas. It's super fun with kids. Steve played Santa at our Ward Christmas Party. At first Taylor was terrified but as we explained who Santa was and what he does he warmed up to him. It was so cute!
