Well, we have one smart kid. We always have Taylor say the prayer for family prayer each night. It helps him with him speech and most importantly, teaches him to pray. We went through our usual 'thanks' and Steve prompted me to add something. I start to say, "...And please bless Taylor"
Taylor repeats "Bless Tator...."
"That he will use his words..."
Taylor pauses and says, "Nope."
So I tried it again. "Bless Taylor that he will learn lots of words..."
"Nope."
So I thought of something else, "Please bless Taylor that he will go pee-pee on the potty."
"Nope."
Steve and I could not stop laughing!!! He totally knows what we're saying and is avoiding improvement! Ha HA! We about died! He's doing very well and can even do 'Head, shoulders, knees, and toes.' I'll get that video uploaded some how today.

ReplyDeleteSo, tell Steve sorry, but I cancelled my eye appointment. I'm sure he won't be too devastated. Sam's Club Optical is just cheaper. =) I didn't know they had one until now. Sorry.

by the way, I just read all the funny things that Steve says "as his head hits the pillow..." Wow, I am literally crying with laughter! I'm so glad you put those on the blog!
