HI! We are back in Rexburg! I don't know if that calls for celebration or moaning. It's always nice to come home but great to leave for a while. We spent Christmas mainly at the Andersen's and stayed at the Vest's as well. We enjoyed being close to both families and the joy of Taylor opening gifts. His most favorite by far was ANYTHING Mickey Mouse. He loves that little man. We mainly took video of Taylor and his gifts. So when Steve gets that loaded I'll add some funny photage of Taylor and his Mickey Mouse fettish.
Taylor got a finger puppet book from Grandma Sue. He wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
Auntie Ashley and the T-Man on Christmas morning.
We gave my mom, "Mamma Mia!" and she started singing it right when she opened it. She grew up in the 70s.
My dad served his mission in Edinburgh, Scotland, and our ancestors first heard about the gospel while in Scotland as well. So anything we can find that is Scottish we tend to impulse buy. I found this Celtic Santa at Kohl's. It was the only one of the four 'Father Christmas' statues on the shelf and grabbed it as I was walking by. My dad loved it!
And the BIG news - no Steve didn't get me a ring for Christmas - my sister, Ashley is getting married!! Brady Andersen, is her fiance, and yes he spells his last name JUST like ours. He is from Firth and is wonderful. We're so glad Ashley has found someone to boss around for eternity. JK! We love them both and wish them the best of luck.
Brady is training to be a helicopter pilot and we got him this little helicopter for fun. He laughed so hard when he opened it. He loved it, and Taylor, too.

It looks like you guys had a wonderful holliday! It was so awesome seeing you at Aunt Marilyn's. Even if it was only in passing. We'll have to get together sometime. Taylor is getting so big and cute!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you guys had such a great time for the holidays. I wish both sides of my family were that close it would make life so much easier. Oh that that totally cracks me up how much Taylor likes Mickey Mouse. :)
